ashtangayoga
in Corsica

summer 2025: ashtanga yoga for both experienced and new practitioners.
if you ever wondered how to combine practice with holidays: welcome!
let your friends and family sleep-in while you practice or bring them with you for an introduction to ashtanga yoga.

our itinerant shala has purpose, a simple one: gathering kindred people in yoga practice, in chanting, in conversation and within the beauty of the island of Corsica - in France.

at the core of these weeks you’ll find a daily morning practice where you will share the space in a Mysore setting and where you will be invited to explore contemplation through pranayama or by observing silence/stillness. the heart of our weeks together will beat around repeating this every day - with some pauses - and this rhythm will be supported by chanting, by sitting together, by asking questions and by drawing teachings from traditional texts. there will be time to share moments together outside of the mat and to explore the mountains or the sea - solo or with new/known fellow practitioners.

we have always loved being hosts, cooking for others, creating safe spaces to develop stability, doing community work and traveling. this is our way of bringing our work to another dimension, and location. come ︎

beginners:

welcome! nothing better than starting to practice in the warmth and calm of a holiday trip.
this summer camp isn’t meant to be exhausting: a doable program. hopefully also regenerative.

every Monday we will introduce new students to the practice at 8:15 am. come on time to start learning the foundations which you will gradually deepen during the week(s). please plan to stay 30 minutes after class on Monday to share some theory and to provide context to what you’re learning.
